Progress Pride bandanna

Canteen is proud to introduce our Progress Pride bandanna, an homage to the Progress Pride flag. 🌈🌈 This bandanna is a symbol of unity and celebration of people of diverse genders and sexualities and highlights the importance of intersectional support in our ongoing fight to square up to cancer. The bandanna comprises 11 horizontal stripes of colour in a rainbow of red, orange, yellow, green, dark blue, purple, white, light pink, light blue, brown and black. 💖🧡💛💚💙💜🤍💗💙🤎🖤

White, light pink and light blue stripes celebrate transgender, non-binary and gender diverse people. Black and brown stripes represent BIPOC communities (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour). These stripes acknowledge the historical significance of these groups within the LGBTQI+ movement and the ongoing challenges they face as often marginalised communities.

This bandanna echoes Canteen’s dedication to an inclusive community where every young LGBTQI+ person impacted by cancer can be celebrated for their true selves through tailored support. It is a pledge to work to create spaces where love, celebration and resilience can flourish for all 🌈🌈
